Al-Adwa Water Treatment Plant (Filter Supply & Testing)
As part of ongoing efforts to ensure the highest quality of potable water, Minya Drinking Water and Wastewater Company launched a project to supply and assess the performance of filtration cartridges at the Al-Adwa Water Treatment Plant.
This initiative included the procurement and testing of four filtration cartridges, provided by Aquarabia for Water Treatment and Matito for Water Treatment, to evaluate their effectiveness in improving water quality. The testing was conducted by the Environmental Chemistry Laboratory at the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), a specialized unit under the Institute of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering.
The evaluation process was aimed at verifying the suitability of the filtration media for safe and efficient drinking water purification, reinforcing the company’s commitment to public health and environmental safety.
